I’ve looked in the forum postings but can’t find anything that is specific. I have a seven character calligraphy I’d like to do and then have mounted. But how large is the calligraphy itself and then how large will the scroll have to be? I have heard that a “standard” scroll size is 1/2 of a piece of shuen paper (about 54″ x 13 1/2″). Is that measurement for the work of calligraphy itself, so the entire scroll is well over 60″ long?
Much thanks for any counsel. #CalligraphyScrollSize
