This is made with babmoo fibres. It was marked as ‘Sheng Xuan’ but it is not traditional ‘Xuan Paper’ since it uses different fibres. It is made in Sichuan province while the authentic xuan paper can only be made in AnHui province. According to the price, I suspect it is machine-made since this cannot cover labour cost for making this amount of paper, not to mention fine raw materials.
However, if the price is 17 € including international shipping for 100 sheets of 50 * 100cm. It is very good value. You could give it a try. If you like using it, you can continuing sourcing this. Authentic sheng xuan sometimes are not as friendly as industrial papers.

Chinese Paper Identification
Could someone please translate the label for me?
I had bought this 100 pack of 100×50 cm for about 17 € including shipping, I can remember that it was on offer. My experience with it, its suitable for practising, strokes of different moisture can be easily drawn on it, it is not as absorbed as other unsized papers.
It’s probably a Xuan paper, I think.
At the beginning I was afraid to get very thin paper from eBay, it would have to be saved on the material in order to be able to offer things cheaply. I then researched on Chinese paper on eBay on the internet whether people have experience with it and then decided after several reviews on Instagram to give it a try.

I have to dissolve my home made paints with warm water so that I can use them, which is totally impractical when there is no kettle nearby. I suspect that the colour chips and the colors in the porcelain bowls have a different binder than rabbit skin glue because they are so easy to dissolve. Put an ink stick in water at room temperature and it dissolves very little ink, so it has to be grounded to get a lot of ink, which is more gentle than pouring very warm water over it, which would be way too much ink to work with if I could use it to dissolve an entire ink stick.
I read that the chips are often given as a binder resin and that comes from plants. Which one is used for colour chips?
I found a video on YouTube where peach sap glue has been added to the ink so that it runs less on the paper and stays moist longer on the palette. Peach sap glue is also a resin and resins are added to paints as binders.
Gum Arabic would run too much and is not suitable for Xuan paper while peach resin even has the property that the colour runs less and is more suitable.
As for the Maries colors I have them in a blue box with 18 colors in 9ml tubes, and they are very intense, they were the only ones that were available at Amazon at the time, I should have bought all three packs. #NaturalPigments
